In a modern workplace, fires can grow rapidly, often doubling in size every 30 seconds. Knowing how to act quickly and safely is critical. Our Fire Equipment Training gives participants the knowledge and practical skills to identify fire types and operate extinguishers, hose reels and fire blankets correctly.
Delivered on site, this training ensures your staff can control or extinguish small fires before they escalate, while maintaining full compliance with AS 3745 – Planning for Emergencies in Facilities and workplace health and safety obligations.
What the Training Covers
Our training combines theory and practical components to build confidence and capability:
Fire science and the classes of fire.
Extinguishing agents and their correct application.
Safe use of fire extinguishers, hose reels and fire blankets.
Practical, hands-on use for each participant with extinguishers and blankets.
How We Deliver
On-site, customised training tailored to your workplace layout and risks
We bring all equipment, including our fire training module, extinguishers and safety gear
Duration: 1.5 – 2 hours
Participants: up to 20 per session for optimal learning
Includes course handouts and attendance record keeping
For the practical component, a small outdoor area is required. Most workplaces already have a suitable space, but if you’re unsure, our team can help assess suitability before the session.
