Evacuation Exercises (Fire Drills)

Test your emergency procedures and build confidence through realistic simulations

Having an Emergency Control Organisation (ECO) in place is essential, but ensuring that team can respond effectively under pressure is just as important. Critical Fire conducts simulated evacuation exercises to test your emergency procedures, confirm readiness, and ensure your wardens and staff are confident in their roles.

Our exercises are fully compliant with AS 3745 – Planning for Emergencies in Facilities and help your workplace meet its WHS obligations. Most facilities are required to conduct a fire drill annually, though some may require more frequent exercises depending on their risk profile or regulatory conditions.

What’s Included

Each exercise is customised to your site, risk level and ECO structure, and includes:

  • Pre-exercise briefing for wardens

  • Simulated emergency coordinated with the Chief Warden

  • Real-time observations, coaching and data collection

  • Supervised and safe re-entry of occupants

  • Post-drill debrief and a full written report with recommendations

How We Deliver

  • On-site, practical simulations designed around your workplace and operations

  • Duration: approximately 1 hour, depending on site size and complexity

  • All ECO members participate for the full duration; all occupants participate briefly, minimising downtime

  • Exercises are run in real-time conditions to ensure accuracy and realism

  • Attendance records and post-exercise reports included for compliance and audit use
