Background

Critical Fire has for many years provided Fire Equipment Installation, Maintenance, Repairs and Evacuation Diagrams to National Storage Sites across Western Australia.

Project

Critical Fire was selected to provide Fire Extinguisher Installation and Evacuation Diagram production across this new site in the Perth Northern Suburb of Wangara. As part of this process we:

• Completed a review of the plans to ensure compliance with AS 2444.
• Reviewed the Fire Engineered Solution to ensure compliance with the performance elements of the National Construction Code / Building Code.
• Transported 75 Fire Extinguishers to site and ensured they were fully commissioned to AS2444.
• Installed the Fire Extinguishers to AS 2444 including all compliant signage.
• Installed additional signage to meet the Fire Engineered Solution.
• Provided a full asset list and certification to AS 2444.
• Developed Evacuation Diagrams to AS 3745 utilising our in-house draftsmen
• Printed, Framed and Installed the Evacuation Diagrams.

Outcomes

1. Fully Compliant Extinguisher Installation to NCC, Fire Engineered Solution and AS 2444.
2. Fully Compliant Evacuation Diagrams to AS 3745.
3. Completed on budget and on time, allowing the building to receive certification and commence opening as planned.
