Exit & Emergency Lighting

During a fire or in the event of another emergency, it is often common for power to be lost or isolated. When this occurs it can be very difficult for occupants to locate their nearest exit whilst in the dark, therefore hindering a safe and swift evacuation.

Every exit sign or emergency lighting system relies on its own battery and globes/tubes. Small issues can often arise through a lack of regular checks, which are then only discovered when a scheduled maintenance occurs.

AS 2293.3 requires testing every 6 months, which involves a simulated loss of power and a check of all fittings. In addition to one-off or regular testings, Critical Fire can also assist with replacing lighting units, new installations, as well as the design of these systems.
