Maintenance, Installations, Emergency Planning and Training

Location: Statewide Provision across all of Western Australia

Project

Ongoing Maintenance to AS 1851, AS 2293.2 and AS 3760 to meet WHS and insurance obligations. Installations of Fire Safety Equipment as required following maintenance inspections and at new premises. Development of Emergency Management Manuals and Evacuation Diagrams. Provision of Fire Warden Training, Evacuation Exercises and Fire Equipment Training.

Background

Critical Fire has, for the last 5 years, provided a fully comprehensive testing, maintenance and installation service for SVDP across the entire state. Additionally we also provide Emergency Procedure Manuals and Evacuation Diagrams for each site. The provision of this service is across a range of building types such as residential care, residential homes, retail facilities, crisis care accommodation and warehousing operations.

Maintenance

On an ongoing basis Critical Fire is continuing to provide:

  • Maintenance / Repairs / Installation of Portable Fire Equipment such as Fire Extinguishers, Fire Hose Reels, Fire Blankets and Fire Hydrants to AS 1851.
  • Maintenance / Repairs / Installation of Fire Pump sets, Fire Water Tanks and Fire Sprinkler Systems to AS 1851.
  • Maintenance / Repairs / Installation of Exit and Emergency Lighting to AS 2293.2.
  • Portable Appliance Testing and Residual Current Device Testing / Repairs to AS 3760.
  • Maintenance / Repairs / Installation of Fire Detection and Occupant Warning Systems to AS 1851 and AS 1670.
  • Maintenance / Repairs / Installation of Smoke Alarms to AS 1851 and AS 3786

Outcomes

  1. Ongoing and full compliance with AS 1851, AS 2293.2 and AS 3760.
  2. Compliance with WHS Obligations and Insurer expectations.
  3. Emergency Management Manuals and Evacuation diagrams fully compliant with AS 3745. Regularly reviewing these documents to ensure compliance with changes to legislation and Australian Standards.
  4. Delivery of ongoing staff training to AS 3745 ensuring timely response should an incident occur.
  5. All works completed on time and on budget, including 24/7 callout response for unexpected faults.
