PUAFIR207B – Operate Breathing Apparatus Open Circuit

Our Breathing Apparatus Training expands upon our Confined Space Entry & Rescue Training, and covers everything that is essential to the safe use and operation of breathing apparatus, which is customised to your site’s equipment, use of procedures, and environment.

This course contains a large component of practical training, as well as some theory practice. Trainees are required to have a reasonable level of fitness, and have met any or all requirements set by their employer. The training is conducted using your equipment, however, if this is not available then we will happily provide equipment at an additional cost.
The duration for this course is dependent upon its structure, however we normally advise to allow 1 day, and encourage 8-12 participants.2 firefighters spraying water fire fighting operation

The spread of or inhalations of smoke, toxins, or poisonous gases are just some of the dangers your workplace might be exposed to, where the use of breathing apparatus could dramatically save a life. Critical Fire Protection & Training provides education and training to ensure that your staff are aware of the hazards that might arise, and how to act accordingly in order to use their apparatus safely.
